Daming Lake—Wangfu Pond—Furong Street—Baotu Spring—Quancheng Square—Thousand-Buddha Mountain

2) Details
(1) Enter Daming Lake by the southwest gate, pay a visit to Tiegong Temple, Xiaocanglang Gloriette, Beiji Temple and leave the park by the east gate (or visit Lixia Gloriette by boat and leave by the south gate). It takes about one hour and a half.

(2) Go to Wangfu Pond on foot after leaving Daming Lake by the south gate and pay a visit to Furong Street.

(3) Go to the Baotu Spring by car, enter the park by the east gate and pay a visit to Shuyu Spring, Baotu Spring, Li Qingzhao Memorial Hall and leave by the south gate. It takes about one hour.

(4) Lunch: Have lunch at Quanjude Restaurant.

(5) Visit the Quancheng Square including the Symbol Square and the Music Lotus Fountain.

(6) Go to the Thousand-Buddha Mountain by car and enter the park by the east gate. Stop at the Thousand-Buddha Cave and visit the mountain on foot. Go to the summit of the mountain by the stone stairs and visit Yilan Gloriette, Xingguochan Temple. It takes about 3 hours.

(7) Dinner: Have dinner at Yanxitang Restaurant.

1.Itinerary: Go to Zhangqiu by car and pay a visit to Baimai Spring; return to the Liberation Gloriette, visit the Heihu Spring Group, go across Pipa Bridge and return to the Liberation Gloriette. Go to the Baotu Spring along Quancheng Road; enter the Baotu Spring Park by the east gate and visit the park.

2. An Introduction to Major Scenic Spots
[Baimai Spring] Located in Baimai Spring Park in Zhangqiu, Baimai Spring is one of the 72 most famous springs in Jinan. The park covers an area of 300 mu with 100 mu of water area. Major scenic include Baimai Spring, Mingshui Lake, Longquan Temple and Qingzhao Garden.
[Heihu Spring Group] It is composed of 14 springs including Heihu Spring, Baishi Sprign, Maonao Spring, Jiunv Spring, Wulian Spring and so on. It has the largest quantity of spring water among the four spring groups in the city.

Introduction:

1) Linuo Group: Established in 1994, Linuo Group is a large-scale enterprise with the major products of solar power, Chinese and western medicine manufacturing, new material of glass, oil paint. It is also engaged in the tertiary industry such as foreign economy and trade and logistics. Linuo Group is a Fine Non-Governmental Enterprise, a Hi-Tech Enterprises at the National Level and a Hi-Tech Non-Governmental Enterprise at the National Level.

2) Jinan Iron and Steel Group: Established in 1958, it now has 38,000 employees and the total assets is 33.7 billion yuan. In 2005, the output of steel is 10.42 million tons,the sale income is 38.6 billion yuan, profit tax 3.16 billion yuan and profit 1.9 billion yuan; 1.3 million tons of iron and steel products are exported which brings about 500 million US dollars. The exports and imports reach 1.16 billion US dollars.

3) Jinan Heavy-Duty Truck Group Co Ltd: It is the major production base of heavy-duty trucks in the country. It is famous because it produced the first heavy-duty truck ( the Yellow River JN 150) in China, successfully introduced in the Steyr Heavy-Duty Truck Production Programme and the cooperation with Volvo to produce the heavy-duty trucks at the international level.

4) Jinan No.2 Machine Tool Factory: Established in 1937, it is the largest enterprise in manufacturing forging, large and medium-scale machine cutting tools in China. In 2005, it is among the 500 Most Powerful in Machinery, the 500 Largest Enterprises in Machinery in China. In 2006, it is ratified by the National Science and Technology Ministry as one of the 118 Research and Development Center of Enterprises at the National Level.
